Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer / Site Engineer (Wood / Furniture Industry)Department: Projects / Operations Reports To: Project Manager / Production Head

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage project execution at site or factory, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and adherence to design, materials, and safety standards in furniture and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Execution & Site Supervision

• Manage day-to-day site activities for modular furniture, wooden joinery, or interior fit-out projects.
• Supervise installation of furniture, partitions, wall panels, ceiling, and other wooden elements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams (Design, Production, and Procurement) for smooth workflow.
• Ensure project progress as per schedule and quality standards.
• Plan manpower, material, and tools requirement for the site.

2. Technical & Design Coordination

• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and production details.
• Provide technical clarifications to installation teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure implementation of approved drawings and specifications.

3. Quality & Safety Control

• Inspect furniture and joinery quality during fabrication and installation.
• Ensure adherence to company’s quality standards and client specifications.
• Maintain safety standards and housekeeping at the site.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily / weekly progress reports and submit to management.
• Maintain material consumption, manpower, and site documentation records.
• Report delays, variations, or technical issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Interior / Wood Technology.
• Experience: 7 to 10 years years for Sr. Project Engineer
• 4–5 years as Site Engineer
• Experience in wood / modular furniture / interior fit-out projects is mandatory.
• Software Skills: AutoCAD, MS Office, Project scheduling tools.
• Other Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of wood materials, hardware, finishes, and joinery.
• Excellent communication and team coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
