Position Title: SSG Commando – VIP Security
Department: Security Operations
Reporting To: Security Manager / Team Leader

Job Purpose:

To provide close protection and high-level security to VIPs, ensuring their safety at all times through proactive risk assessment, surveillance, and rapid response to threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide close protection to VIPs during travel, meetings, and public/private events
• Conduct advance security surveys and risk assessments of locations
• Escort VIPs securely and maintain situational awareness at all times
• Monitor and control access to secure areas
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any security threats or emergencies
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and security teams when required
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding VIP movements and information
• Ensure all security equipment is functional and properly used
• Follow SOPs and security protocols at all times

Job Specification (JS)Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Ex-SSG Commando (mandatory)
• Proven experience in VIP or close protection security
• Strong understanding of security operations and threat management
• Valid arms license (where applicable)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be tall
• Physically fit with excellent stamina and reflexes

• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• High level of discipline and professionalism
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
