The RQ SSM KIOSKS Technician provides on-site technical support for the RQ SSM KIOSK estate network across multiple client premises. This mobile technician role involves hardware maintenance, configuration, testing, and Software trouble shooting coordination with back-office development teams to ensure optimal RQ SSM KIOSKS availability and compliance.
Hardware Maintenance & Support
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on RQ SSM KIOSKSs (card dispensers, cash acceptor and dispensers, bank card readers, receipt printers, Industrial PC, Modems, CCTV Camera, KYC Camera, Monitor, Mechanical Motors)
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues; regular dusting and cleaning, replace worn components and clear jams.
· Conduct regular inspections to prevent operational disruptions.
Installation, Configuration & Testing
· Assist with new RQ SSM KIOSKS installations and hardware setup.
· Configure network connections, modems, and peripherals.
· Perform comprehensive RQ SSM KIOSKS testing (card dispensing, cash dispensing, security compliance etc.).
· Use diagnostic tools (NCR SelfServ, Diebold Nixdorf platforms) to identify issues.
Back-Office Coordination
· Collaborate with development teams on system integration and connectivity.
· Participate in UAT/SIT environments and support software/firmware deployments.
· Escalate complex issues and maintain communication on resolution status.
Documentation & Support
· Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and technical reports.
· Track RQ SSM KIOSKS inventory and order replacement parts.
· Provide first-level technical support to bank staff.
· Ensure compliance with banking security and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
· High School Diploma minimum; Associate degree in Electronics/IT preferred
· 0–2 years in ATM, Printer or KIOSKS maintenance, hardware support, or related technical field.
Technical Skills
· RQ SSM KIOSKS hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic tools proficiency
· Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, connectivity verification)
· Familiarity with Windows/embedded Linux operating systems
· Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and security protocols

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
· Excellent communication (verbal and written)
· Independent work capability with minimal supervision
· Team collaboration for development team coordination
Physical & Operational
· Valid driver's license and frequent mobility across branch locations
