SSOC Operator - Healthcare

Operate the SSOC helpdesk and command center functions by receiving, logging, dispatching, tracking, and closing emergency and non-emergency service requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer emergency hotline calls and messages.
  • Log incidents accurately into system applications.
  • Dispatch requests to relevant departments:
    • Facilities
    • Biomed
    • Housekeeping
    • Security
    • Portering
    • Fire/Life Safety
  • Monitor alarms, alerts, and emergency notifications.
  • Coordinate emergency code activations.
  • Operate communication channels:
    • Phone
    • SMS
    • Email
    • Paging systems
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Escalate delayed or unresolved incidents.
  • Support temperature alert monitoring and facility incidents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or diploma degree.
  • 1–3 years experience in call center, dispatch center, security operations, or hospital helpdesk.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to use multiple monitoring systems simultaneously.
  • Fast typing and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with emergency response procedures.
