The Staff Accountant position at MDD will have excellent analytical skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a genuine interest in pursuing a career in forensic accountant.

Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
- Physical inventory observation, price testing
- Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
- Checking and proofing reports and schedules
- Conduct phone or in-person interviews to obtain information
- Research, data extraction, analysis and interpretation
- Attend marketing events and functions with clients

Finance-related Degree/Masters graduate (Accounting related, advantageous)
- Ideally, working towards an accounting designation ( AC(C)A, CPA, CIMA, or UAECA)
- Some accounting-related work experience (paid or otherwise), beneficial
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoys working with data, tenacious in problem solving
- Confident communication skills with ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team
- Intermediate to advanced MS suite skills, particularly Excel
- Fluent in business-English (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Arabic / other language, considered an asset
- Ability to travel at short notice may be required
