Position Summary
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring the financial integrity of the agency.

Requirements:

Position Responsibilities – Essential

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts
• Assist in preparing and processing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports
• Support in reconciling various accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and file various financial reports
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Advantage, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Experience with a broad range of accounting functions (A/P, A/R, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Experience with project-based accounting and/or media buying a plus
• Experience with billing, invoicing, and collections processes, including managing accounts receivable and following up on outstanding payments
• Proven ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity and discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills
