Noble Point Management & Accounting is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our growing portfolio of small business and nonprofit clients. This is a part-time contract role ideal for an experienced accounting professional comfortable handling both day-to-day accounting operations and higher-level financial reporting.
CPA designation is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and transaction review
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance and account cleanup when needed
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Deliver monthly financial reporting packages for clients
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting accuracy
Tax & Compliance Support
- Assist with business and individual tax preparation
- Support estimated tax planning and compliance filings
- Assist with IRS notices and supporting documentation
Professional Accounting Services
- Support CPA-level accounting services when required
- Assist with attestations and financial documentation
- Support internal controls and financial process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA highly preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience supporting multiple clients or small businesses is a plus
Technical Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online required
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
