Housing Solutions Alliance, LLC (HSA) provides fee accounting services for over 130 housing authority programs in 11 states.

HSA is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting department in their Shreveport, LA location. The candidate should have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience. To succeed in this position, you will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Must possess a customer service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and analysis for assigned clients (in accordance with GAAP)
• Record and report all financial transactions
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare grant reconciliations in accordance with HUD’s regulations
• Maintain fixed asset accounts
• Prepare periodic reports and analyses for clients
• Prepare year-end reports for financial reporting to HUD
• Work with auditors as required
• Ability to learn additional software packages as required
• Additional duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,000.00 per year
