MD Esthetics is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will support the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Job Duties:
- Cash Management & Reconciliations
- Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash activity across locations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts
- Import and reconcile bank transactions for legacy accounts experiencing sync issues
- Monitor and investigate discrepancies related to cash activity
- Credit Cards & Payables Coordination
- Perform credit card reconciliations for all company credit card accounts
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are entered in Ramp for transactions appearing in bank activity
- Assist in reviewing credit card activity and supporting documentation
- Journal Entries & Month-End Close
- Prepare journal entries related to utilities, revenue, credit card fees, and other operating expenses
- Record monthly revenue entries
- Record inventory transfers and cost of goods sold (COGS) entries
- Record marketing expense allocations to locations based on provided details
- Assist with the monthly close process
- Inventory & Vendor Programs
- Accrue vendor rebates for McKesson and AbbVie
- Review inventory transactions for shipping fees and sales tax accuracy
- Prepaids, Fixed Assets & Accruals
- Reconcile prepaid expenses and insurance accounts
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Review G&A accounts and record expense accruals, including marketing and professional fees
- Record bonus, audit, and tax accruals
- Additional Accounting Support
- Assist with entering benefits invoices and related location allocations
- Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and reporting

As MD Esthetics continues to expand, this position will gain increasing exposure to financial reporting, process improvements, and advanced accounting responsibilities, creating a pathway toward Senior Accountant and other leadership roles.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
This position is primarily remote, with the potential for quarterly on site meetings.
