We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Finance team at our Seven Mile, Ohio facility. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting operational teams in a growing company.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance needs of Encore Building Systems, LLC, one of the Encore family of businesses
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements
• Provide general accounting support to the Finance department
• Assist with customer invoicing
• Prepare monthly sales tax filings
• Assist with accounting projects and process improvements

Accounts Payable

• Receive inventory into the accounting system
• Enter and process vendor invoices
• Process vendor payments (ACH, checks, and credit cards)
• Process vendor credit applications
• Collect and maintain vendor documentation including W-9s, Certificates of Insurance, and BWC certificates
• Identify invoices subject to use tax

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required within accounting or a closely related field.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving ability

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Titan software experience a plus)
