About the Role:
Surfaceone Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in Azusa, CA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial operations while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
