Staff Accountant

What You'll Expect:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The position will support day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to internal and external standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Classify and record financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, accruals, and liabilities
• Review and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Maintain vendor records, including collecting and organizing W-9 forms and Certificates of Insurance (COI)
• Prepare and assist with 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS requirements
• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulatory standards
• Support audit requests by providing accurate documentation and reports
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Support accounts payable and payroll functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Assist audit team during internal and external audits
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What We Require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
