Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our trucking companies. This role will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, account management, internal bookkeeping, reconciliations, and records management.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
• Enter bills, invoices, payments, and expenses in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
• Manage customer and vendor accounts
• Track unpaid invoices and follow up on balances
• Keep accurate records for fuel, repairs, insurance, equipment payments, and other trucking expenses
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reports

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Trucking, transportation, or logistics accounting experience preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required
• Strong knowledge of A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and account management
• Good Excel skills
• Organized, accurate, and able to meet deadlines

We are looking for someone reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trucking environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
