Staff Accountant (Hybrid)

About the Role

DiRx is a fast-growing healthcare company looking for a Staff Accountant who wants more than just “doing entries.” This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of accounting experience who is ready to own processes, be involved in month-end close, and grow within a scaling organization.

You’ll work directly with leadership and play a key role in improving accounting operations as the company continues to expand.

What You’ll Do

• Support and actively participate in the month-end close process
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections tracking
• Analyze financial data and support internal reporting
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready support
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and reduce manual work
• Assist with audit support and compliance as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of accounting experience (required)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Strong understanding of:
• Debits & credits
• Journal entries
• General ledger accounting
• Experience with month-end close
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or Intuit enterprise experience is a plus)
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a mindset for process improvement

Work Location

Hybrid – based in Fort Lauderdale, FL (not fully remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
