Position Overview
This role provides hands-on experience in both tax and audit, offering a well-rounded public accounting career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofit)
- Assist with audit and attest engagements
- Perform bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Communicate directly with clients and assist with ongoing advisory needs
- Stay current on tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
- 1–3+ years of experience in public accounting (preferred)
- CPA eligible or pursuing CPA (strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday standard schedule
- Additional hours during busy season (with paid overtime)
- Hybrid/ flexibility available based on role and experience
