Staff Accountant - Trust

We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in deadline-driven environments while managing critical trust bank account reconciliations. As our Staff Accountant for Trust operations, you'll handle the financial backbone of our trust accounting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance in every transaction.

What You'll Actually Do

Execute precise reconciliations: Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of trust bank accounts while addressing tight deadlines and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Manage client communications: Communicate with clients regarding funding requirements while building professional relationships that support smooth operations.

Calculate commission revenue: Perform accurate commission revenue calculations while ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.

Process financial transactions: Handle void and reissuance of checks while assisting with positive pay processes and generating vendor remittance documentation.

Generate critical reports: Pull proper reports for tasks including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Bank Reconciliations, AR/AP Aging Reports, and CSV uploads.

Drive process improvements: Continuously learn new reports and system functionalities that assist in creating more efficient workflows and enhanced productivity.

What You Bring to Our Mission

The foundational experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1+ years experience in Accounting/Finance
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations or Trust Accounting preferred

The technical expertise:

• NetSuite proficiency: Generate essential reports including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation, AR/AP Aging Reports, and CSV uploads
• Hi-Tech experience: Pull reports and documents including invoices and check registers
• Office 365 mastery: Utilize Excel, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, and Word at best ability while continuously finding workflow improvements
