Staff Accountant/Auditor

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate to join our Audit team, specializing in government audits. The ideal candidate will assist in performing financial statement audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements while gaining valuable exposure to a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and performing audit engagements in accordance with professional standards
• Prepare audit workpapers and documentation
• Analyze financial statements and accounting records
• Perform testing of internal controls and substantive procedures
• Communicate findings with senior auditors and managers
• Work directly with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and firm policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
• 0–2 years of public accounting or audit experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a team environment

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
