Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, solid system design expertise, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, production-grade applications.

This role demands technical depth, ownership, and the ability to influence engineering best practices while contributing directly to code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature development and technical solutions
• Drive system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design teams to deliver business outcomes
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of applications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong proficiency in backend and/or full stack development
• Experience with modern application architecture and design patterns
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures
• Solid experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior experience working in product-based or high-scale environments

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
