Job Purpose:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical and surgical wards, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients under medical and surgical categories.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative care, including wound care, drains, and catheters.
- Provide patient education regarding disease, treatment, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Clinical Procedures & Support:
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries in the ward.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Ensure timely reporting of changes in patient condition to the concerned physician.
- Administer injections, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other prescribed therapies.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate patient charts, nursing notes, and medication records.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, hospital policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and infection control activities.
- Teamwork & Communication:
- Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Train and guide junior nurses, trainees, and support staff in ward activities.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock and supplies of ward equipment and medications.
- Participate in emergency response and disaster management within the ward.
- Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuing nursing education programs.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
