Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assisting doctors, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role ensures adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
Provide direct nursing care to inpatients and outpatients.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
Assist in daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and mobility of patients.
Administer prescribed medicines and injections on time.
Observe and report changes in patients’ condition to the physician or in-charge nurse.
2. Medical Assistance:
Assist doctors during rounds and procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, dressings, and other equipment.
Support in minor and major surgical procedures as required.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and updated patient records, medication charts, and nursing notes.
Report incidents, accidents, or critical observations to the superior immediately.
4. Infection Control & Safety:
Follow hospital infection control and waste management policies.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the ward and patient surroundings.
5. Coordination & Communication:
Coordinate with other departments for patient services and smooth workflow.
Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, and healthcare team members.
6. Emergency Response:
Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Provide basic life support (BLS) and first aid when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience (freshers may be considered).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, responsible, and dedicated to patient care.

Work Environment:
Hospital / Clinic / ICU / Ward / Operation Theatre.
Rotational shifts including night duty.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.59 per month
