Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. The role involves assisting doctors, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition.
- Maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and safety.
- Clinical Duties
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
- Ensure proper infection control and sterilization practices.
- Manage IV lines, dressings, catheters, and other nursing procedures.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes, reports, and records.
- Update patient files and handover reports during shift changes.
- Record all administered medications and nursing observations.
- Communication & Coordination
- Communicate effectively with doctors, colleagues, and patient families.
- Coordinate with diagnostic, pharmacy, and housekeeping teams.
- Report abnormal findings or emergencies to the incharge or doctor immediately.
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in fire safety, disaster drills, and training programs.
- Shift Duties
- Work as per assigned shifts (Morning/Evening/Night).
- Ensure proper handover at the end of each shift.
- Maintain punctuality and discipline in duty hours.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
- Registration: Must be registered with State Nursing Council
- Experience: 2–5 years

- Sound knowledge of nursing principles and patient care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergencies

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
