Staff Nurse

Job Summary
The Staff Nurse provides high-quality nursing care to patients, supports doctors during clinical procedures, and ensures safe and smooth functioning of the ward/ICU/department as per hospital standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, maintaining IV lines, and assisting with daily activities.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist doctors during treatments, dressings, and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes, medication records, and reports.
• Follow all SOPs related to infection control, patient safety, and nursing protocols.
• Perform sample collection when required and ensure proper handover during shift changes.
• Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and home care.
• Handle emergency situations promptly and escalate cases to seniors/physicians when needed.
• Ensure cleanliness, sterility, and proper functioning of equipment in the assigned area.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for smooth patient care delivery.
• Maintain patient rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

Qualifications Required

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing.
• Registration with the State Nursing Council is mandatory.
• 0–5 years of clinical experience (freshers can also be considered depending on department).

Skills Needed

• Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
• Good communication and empathy towards patients.
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS); ACLS preferred for critical care areas.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
