Job Description – Staff Nurse

Department: All Clinical Departments
Reporting To: Nursing In-Charge
Location: Indiana Hospital

Role Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients across assigned departments, in accordance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of patient condition.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality protocols.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment and ward readiness.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for effective patient care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
• Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.

Eligibility & Skills

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification with valid nursing council registration.
• Good clinical knowledge and basic computer skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centric approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
