Job Summary

Assess and identify patients' needs; implement and monitor the patient's medical plan and treatment. Ensure that patient care is conducted according to the policies and standards of the University.

Job Description

  • Provides care supportive to and restorative of health and well-being.
  • Coordinates nursing care activities with other health disciplines involved in the treatment effort.
  • Develops a written individualized care plan which includes teaching needs.
  • Administers medications.

Requirement

Job Responsibilities:

Candidates must be licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a registered nurse.

Preferred Qualification

TB certification is highly preferred.
