STAFF NURSE ICU

Requirements

• B.Sc. nursing or GNM.
• KNMC Registration mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least one year in an ICU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient responses to interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform essential nursing procedures and assist with complex medical equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about post-discharge care and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
