Staff Nurse (ICU), (Emergency)

Job Title: Staff Nurse – ICU / Ward / Emergency

Job Summary:

We are hiring dedicated and responsible Staff Nurses for ICU, General Ward, and Emergency Department. The candidate should be capable of providing quality patient care, handling critical situations, and coordinating with doctors and other healthcare staff. The nurse must be attentive, quick in response, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as per hospital protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake-output charts, and patient condition.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• In ICU: Handle ventilators, monitors, syringe pumps, and critical care equipment.
• In Emergency: Manage trauma and emergency cases promptly and efficiently.
• In Ward: Provide routine nursing care and ensure patient comfort.
• Assist doctors during procedures and rounds.
• Maintain proper documentation and update patient records accurately.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and care plans.
• Coordinate with other departments for investigations and referrals.
• Respond immediately to patient emergencies and escalate when required.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing (Mandatory).
• Registration: Valid State Nursing Council Registration (Mandatory).
• Experience:
• ICU: Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Emergency: Experience in handling emergency/critical cases preferred.
• Ward: 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Freshers may be considered for Ward based on performance and interview.

Required Skills:

• Strong clinical and patient care knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, compassionate, and attentive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of hospital documentation and software.

Working Hours:

Rotational shifts (Day/Night) as per hospital policy, including Sundays and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
