Staff Nurse - Operation Theatre

· Responsible to provides comprehensive care to assigned patients and responsible for patient delight.

· Responsible for maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

· Responsible to wear the stipulated uniform while on duty. Report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.

· Assess patient condition before surgery. Fulfil the pre-operative checklist. (Patient identification band, surgery site marking etc.)

· Ensure that the operating room is prepared with all necessary supplies, medicines, implants, instrumentation and equipment.

· Position the patient on operating table.

· Evaluate postoperative patients

· Reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure.

· Communicate with patients, teammates and physicians to ensure continuity of care.

· Assist surgeons during operations and procedures

· Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.

· Prepare patients for, and assist doctors for surgery.

· Follow all the infection control protocol.

· Responsible for the upkeep and safety of Inventory management.

· Responsible to send CSSD items after surgery and receive the sterilized items before surgery. Keep a stock of these items.

· Coordinate & communicate with clinical Secretarial staff in the Floor/working area regarding billing.

· Staff Nurses are responsible to ensure that dead patients must be given prompt death care according to their believes and religion.

· Any duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
