- Obg ward staff Nurse is responsible for carrying out typical nursing activities, such as monitoring temperature, pulse, breathing and blood pressure and recording accurate results at regular intervals.
- Obg nurse must perform preliminary test and checks vitals on children’s before the doctor arrives
- A Obg nurse must communicate clearly with patient’s after doctor diagnosis and return to the room and explain more details about what the diagnosis means.
- Obg nurse should know medication side effects.
- Admission, Transfer and discharge of patients, LAMA Handling stable and Unstable patients
- Obg nurse major responsibility is to look after the overall health of the patients
- Obg nurse are expected to have a thorough knowledge about non verbal signs of pain
- Assessing observing and reporting the patient’s condition and nursing needs
- Prepare patients for operations and procedures
- Writing the reports and updating records before completing the shift.
- Responding quickly to emergencies
- Obg nurse should know about administering the drugs, injections, blood transfusion and immunization.
