Staff Nurse(Cathlab)

· Preparing the list of critical assignment and make sure that it is implemented in the given time frame.

· Ensuring the patient care related items are available all the time.

· Provide direct clinical services for post-surgery patients according to established protocols and utilizes evidence-based clinical practice standards under the supervision of the unit head and departmental head.

· Demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in the delivery of patient care on ventilators, ICD drain, TPN, blood transfusions etc.

· Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the adult or elderly patient’s immediate condition or needs.

· Conducts ongoing assessments as determined by the adult or elderly patient’s condition

· Receives the patient and makes the patient at ease.

· Identify the patient using two identifiers.

· Make a quick assessment of the patient.

· Utilizes techniques of observation, interview, measurement and physical examination in making an assessment.

· Direct Patient Care based on Nursing Process:

· Obtains & documents a patient assessment which incorporates all available data/information.

· Utilizes techniques of observation, interview, measurement and physical examination in making an assessment.

· Assesses family adaptation, coping skills and the need for crisis or other intervention.

· Plans priorities of nursing care.

· Commences discharge planning as soon as it is feasible

· Delivers care setting priorities in the delivery of care.

· Delegates and supervise nursing care delivered by junior Staff Nurses.

· Co-ordinates care delivered by other health professionals.

· Provide direct clinical services for all those who are undergoing cath lab procedures according to established protocols and utilizes evidence-based clinical practice standards under the supervision of the unit head and departmental head.

· Conducts an individualized patient assessment, makes sure whether pre procedure check list is filled in, as per the check

· list signed consent, fasting guide lines are followed, lab values and ECGs are reviewed and prioritizing the data

· Collection based on the adult or elderly patient’s immediate condition or needs.

· Assist in cath lab procedures such as permanent pacemaker implantation, Coronary Angiogram, Percutaneous Coronary

· Intervention, Radio Frequency Ablation, Electro Physiological Study, etc. Which are conducted in the cath lab.

· Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient’s and

· Family’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights and is culturally competent.

· Provide family-centred care by communicating with the family regarding the changing health care needs of their family member.

· Evaluation

· Evaluates each nursing interventions and revise plan accordingly.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹46,031.26 per month
