ABOUT THE TEAM:
At Jiostar, the team has developed one of India’s largest, highly scalable, and distributed subscription platforms in the OTT landscape. The Ad Platform, built upon this scale, ranks among the top Video Advertising Platforms in India. The goal is to become the largest Video Advertising Platform, leveraging our Ad Tech team's unparalleled expertise in Video-On-Demand, Live Sports, and Ads. Opportunity to expand into countries beyond India, where our freemium model will excel. The Jiostar, MarTech platform has replaced a globally recognized third-party vendor in this segment. We've built a more customized and cost-effective platform in-house to effectively reach, engage, and significantly expand our customer base.
REPORTING TO: Manager, Product Analyst

Collaborate with the data/BI engineering team to shape robust and real-time data systems with the appropriate instrumentation and visualization capabilities

Jointly own the business goals and lead data-led problem-solving to uncover actionable insights across acquisition, payments, engagement, and retention

Develop a framework for conducting hundreds of parallel A/B tests reliably

Partner with product and business teams to identify high-level requirements/problems and construct analytical frameworks and presentations

Create reports and dashboards that foster a more data-aware organization and accurately reflect the performance of various initiatives

Establish and mentor a team of product analysts

Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling, predictive analysis, and expertise in R, SQL, Python

Expertise in Reporting/BI tools, data warehousing concepts, and ETL development and tools

Familiarity with digital analytics and clickstream data

Desirable experience with distributed analytic processing technologies (e.g., Hive)

Good understanding of various analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, Appsflyer, Behavioral Analytics, Apsalar, etc

Excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of consumer behavior

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical discipline, with 7 to 10 years of experience in Business/Product Analytics, preferably from consumer technology companies.
