Job Title: Staff Scheduler – Home Care
Department: Operations
Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi
Reports To: Operations Manager / Home Care Manager
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Staff Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing schedules for caregivers, nurses, and other home care staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage last-minute changes while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules in alignment with patient needs and service contracts.
  • Coordinate with case managers and clients to understand service requirements and match staff accordingly.
  • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed, and manage replacements for absences or emergencies.
  • Communicate schedules to staff and follow up to confirm attendance.
  • Monitor duty hours and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, overtime, and leave.
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure optimal staff coverage.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts quickly and professionally.
  • Prepare reports on staffing patterns, shortages, and scheduling issues.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation of new care staff regarding scheduling processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work after hours or weekends if urgent scheduling issues arise.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, HR, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of DOH/MOH/HAAD regulations is a plus.
  • Experience dealing with patients and families is an advantage.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
