This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. This is subject to change based on operational need and/or future return to office orders. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, Chief of Administration, the Staff Services Manager I, in the OAH Administration (Admin) Division, Contracts and Procurement Unit (CPU) supervises the daily operations of the CPU, that is responsible for providing consultation, direction, and tools to internal and external stakeholders. The position provides supervision to subordinate staff and assists with developing, reviewing, interpreting and coordinating revisions to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures utilizing general office equipment and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms, various research platforms, and project management tools.


This position promotes and is accountable for customer satisfaction and quality service and initiates or recommends changes that encourage innovative solutions to meet and improve customer needs in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations, mandates and State Controller’s Office, Department of Finance, DGS, and other control agency policies and procedures.

The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
