Job Summary:
Plans and executes avionics projects developed internally or with suppliers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams from engineering, operations, and quality to define project plans, track milestones, and manage risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Own integrated project schedules across concurrent software delivery programs; define milestones from requirements through release and coordinate dependencies across software, systems, test, and operations teams

Drive cross-functional execution at key delivery gates; track progress against schedule, identify critical path risks, and escalate with quantified impact and proposed mitigations

Maintain consolidated risk registers; lead identification, quantification, and mitigation of technical, schedule, and resource risks across assigned programs

Lead or support technical reviews (architecture, design, code maturity, release readiness); ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives before gate passage

Coordinate with supplier and vendor program managers on outsourced software development; manage external deliverables against contractual timelines and quality expectations

Manage resource planning and allocation across multiple concurrent projects; identify contention early and work with functional leads to resolve

Establish and maintain project management standards, documentation templates, and review cadences for the Software Delivery team

Oversee configuration and data integrity of project management and tracking tools across large-scale programs
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Knowledge of electronic systems: boards, mechanical parts, cables, software

Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $112,000 - $134,500 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
