Staff Technologist - Molecular Biology

Job Responsibilities:

• Molecular Testing & Reporting

Perform routine and special molecular tests, analyze laboratory findings, ensure result accuracy, repeat/reject tests as per SOP criteria, store samples as per retention policy, issue reports, and communicate abnormal results to concerned doctors/consultants.

• Quality Control & Equipment Management

Calibrate and operate molecular lab instruments, run quality controls, review LJ plots, perform EQA with interpretation, conduct monthly analyzer maintenance, maintain weekly logs, and coordinate with suppliers/biomedical engineers for troubleshooting.

• Inventory & Documentation

Monitor daily consumption, maintain stock of kits and consumables, manage weekly/monthly indents, and ensure proper data maintenance and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.Sc./MLT/ BS/MS in Biological Sciences
• 03 - 05 years of clinical lab technologist experience in Healthcare Industry
• Shift: Rotational Duty (Morning/Evening/Night)
• Location: Karachi
