A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Weaverville, NC is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage throughout the facility while supporting daily staffing operations and communication with nursing staff.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage scheduling needs while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules

• Monitor daily staffing needs and assist with shift coverage

• Communicate staffing updates and needs with management and nursing staff

• Track attendance, call-outs, and schedule changes

• Assist with agency staffing coordination when needed

• Ensure schedules remain compliant with staffing guidelines and facility needs

• Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports

• Work closely with HR and nursing leadership regarding staffing concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous scheduling experience preferred

• Active NC CNA Certification.

• Healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred

• Experience with staffing or scheduling systems is a plus

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
