Staging Designer

Home staging is the marketing vehicle that moves buyers to act. But it’s still largely serviced through hobbyist staging or with ultra-luxury interior design prices. Delicious Decors is changing this with a Best Value approach that makes custom-designed, high-quality staging accessible for all property types across Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties.

The Staging Designer is the creative engine behind our success. This role is responsible for developing and executing compelling staging designs that highlight the unique potential of every home.

As a Staging Designer, you will contribute to our creative process from initial property walkthrough to final styling. We are looking for a reliable self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal oversight. Our ideal candidate is quick on their feet, loves decorating to a tee, and capable of rapid decision-making while ensuring every design aligns with our brand standards. Responsibilities:

• Stage! Execute cohesive design plans for all staging projects assigned within our 3 core service areas.
• Regularly organize decor and textiles using organizational system.
• Select and purchase style-aligned decor and textiles while maintaining budget compliance.
• Conduct property views and scope projects as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with realtors and homeowners.
• Track and report inventory gaps to support procurement.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of relevant professional decorating experience in home staging, film, events, or merchandising.
• Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Team player; decisive while also valuing an open feedback loop.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
