We are seeking a Stakeholder & Authority Specialist to join our Abu Dhabi team.
The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between COENGR, clients, and relevant Abu Dhabi government authorities, ensuring that all permits, NOCs, and design submissions are processed smoothly and in compliance with local regulations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi approval systems such as TAMM and MePS, along with strong communication and coordination skills to manage approvals for drawings, building permits, and construction-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact between clients, authorities, and internal project teams to secure timely approvals and permits.
- Manage end-to-end submission processes through TAMM and MePS systems, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations.
- Liaise and coordinate with various Abu Dhabi authorities, including but not limited to:
- Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD)
- Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM)
- Integrated Transport Centre (ITC)
- Kezad (Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi)
- Abu Dhabi Ports
- TAQA / ADDC (Utilities)
- Review authority comments and coordinate internally with structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to address and resolve feedback.
- Prepare and maintain a tracking system for all submissions, comments, and approval statuses to ensure deadlines are met.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with authority representatives to streamline approval processes.
- Ensure all processes adhere to local authority regulations, codes, and guidelines.
- Provide periodic status reports to management and clients regarding approvals and permits.
- Support the project team in understanding updated policies, regulatory changes, and new procedures introduced by authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience handling authority coordination and stakeholder management in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with TAMM and MePS platforms (mandatory).
- Comprehensive understanding of Abu Dhabi authorities’ procedures and requirements (ADCD, ADM, ITC, ADDC, TAQA, AD Ports, Kezad, etc.).
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office and related project management tools.
- Experience working within a consultancy environment is preferred.
