State House Chef Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations. The Café Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the overall success of the café.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead café staff to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Train and schedule staff effectively
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally
  • Monitor sales and expenses, and help optimize profitability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café
  • Support marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a café manager or in a supervisory hospitality role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Basic financial and inventory management knowledge
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Barista skills or experience in food and beverage service
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting tools
