Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily audits and reconciliations of the state's central depository account and investment transactions.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in banking transactions by coordinating with financial institutions and state agencies.
• Act as the system administrator for bank reconciliation software, providing technical support and training.
• Prepare financial reports and reconciliations for trust and investment accounts.
• Support audits by assisting the Legislative Auditor’s staff with financial analysis.
• Provide guidance to agency fiscal officers on reconciliation issues and oversee junior analysts on special projects.
• Assist with special Treasury management projects and serve as a backup for other staff as needed.

• Experience: Demonstrated expertise in accounting, auditing, budgeting, or financial management. Experience with LaGov or similar financial systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with state constitutional and statutory requirements is an advantage.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
