Static Equipment Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings for static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, etc.)
• Develop fabrication, GA, layout, and detail drawings as per project standards
• Interpret data sheets, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with design and mechanical engineers to ensure drawing accuracy
• Revise drawings based on design updates and feedback
• Maintain proper documentation and version control
• Ensure compliance with codes (ASME, API, IS)
• Coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams for clarifications
• Support BOM preparation when required
• Liaise with the drafting team at our Surat, India office
• Knowledge of structural drafting is an added advantage

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in mechanical drafting for static equipment
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D; 3D is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs
• Excellent accuracy, time management, and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PV Elite, SolidWorks, or Inventor
• Familiarity with document control systems
• EPC or oil & gas project experience

Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
