Statutory Liaison Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Liaison Executive with hands-on experience working with the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with municipal authorities to obtain approvals, licenses, permits, and ensure statutory compliance related to construction, trade licenses, property tax, water connections, fire NOCs, and other civic approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise regularly with NMC officials and departments for various approvals and clearances.
• Handle documentation and submission for:
• Building plan approvals
• Commencement certificates (CC)
• Occupancy certificates (OC)
• Trade licenses
• Property tax assessments
• Water & drainage connections
• Follow up on pending files and expedite municipal approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, legal advisors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Development Control Regulations (DCR).
• Manage and maintain statutory records and approval documentation.
• Track regulatory updates and policy changes from NMC.
• Assist during municipal inspections and site visits.
• Prepare compliance reports and status updates for management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in liaisoning with NMC (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of municipal procedures and approval processes.
• Good working relationships with municipal departments.
• Familiarity with online NMC portals and documentation systems.
