Job Title: Steel Fabricator Company: Al Bany International LLC Location: Oman Industry: EPC / Oil & Gas / Construction / Fabrication Job Summary Al Bany International LLC is seeking skilled Steel Fabricators to join its fabrication team. The role involves cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing steel structures based on engineering drawings and project specifications, primarily for industrial and construction projects. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches Measure, cut, and shape steel materials using tools such as shears, grinders, and cutting torches Assemble fabricated components using welding, bolting, and riveting techniques Operate fabrication machinery (drilling, bending, rolling, and CNC equipment where applicable) Ensure all fabrication work meets quality standards and project specifications Perform fit-up and alignment of structural steel components Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow safety regulations and company HSE policies at all times Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC teams Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Fabrication / Welding or equivalent Minimum 3–5 years of experience in steel fabrication (preferably in GCC projects) Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and materials Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and isometric sketches Familiarity with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) is an advantage Experience in structural steel, piping supports, or heavy fabrication preferred Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions Skills & Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving ability on fabrication issues Good teamwork and communication skills Time management and ability to meet deadlines Strong commitment to safety and quality Working Conditions Work may be carried out in fabrication workshops or project sites Exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery May require overtime based on project schedules Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Accommodation and transportation provided Medical insurance as per Oman labor law Annual leave and air ticket as per company policy How to Apply Interested candidates can submit their CV along with experience certificates and relevant qualifications.
