Job Title: Steel Fixer

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Steel Fixers to join our construction team. The Steel Fixer will be responsible for cutting, bending, fixing, and assembling steel reinforcement bars and mesh to strengthen concrete structures such as buildings, bridges, and roads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow construction drawings and plans.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape reinforcement steel bars and mesh to the required specifications.
• Position and secure steel reinforcement using wire, clamps, spacers, and other fixing methods.
• Assemble and install steel reinforcements in formwork before concrete pouring.
• Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and positioning of reinforcement.
• Check work quality to comply with engineering standards and safety requirements.
• Work closely with site engineers, foremen, and other construction workers.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Skilled in using steel cutting, bending, and fixing tools.
• Physical strength and stamina to work in demanding site conditions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and construction standards.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum: High school or equivalent qualification.
• Technical certification in construction or steel fixing (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in steel fixing or related field.

Work Conditions:

• Site-based role (indoor/outdoor construction environment).
• May involve long hours, shift work, and overtime.
• Requires use of safety gear (helmets, gloves, boots, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 per month
