Steel fixer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Steel Fixer to work on construction sites and carry out steel reinforcement works according to drawings and specifications. The candidate must be skilled in cutting, bending, fixing, and placing reinforcement steel for various civil construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars as per approved drawings
• Read and understand bar bending schedules and construction drawings
• Install reinforcement for slabs, beams, columns, footings, and other structures
• Ensure correct spacing, cover, and alignment of reinforcement
• Tie steel using proper tools and techniques
• Coordinate with foreman and site engineers for daily tasks
• Follow site safety rules and maintain a clean work area
• Ensure quality of work meets project and safety standards

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of relevant UAE experience as a Steel Fixer
• Good knowledge of reinforcement works and construction practices
• Ability to read basic drawings and bar bending schedules
• Physically fit and able to work on site
• Willingness to work overtime as per site requirements
