Steel Structure Detailer / Draftsman (AutoCAD)

Role Summary:
We are hiring a Steel Structure Detailer/Draftsman to produce accurate shop drawings for steel structures, converting design information into fabrication and installation-ready drawings, and coordinating with engineering and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare steel structure shop drawings with high accuracy.
• Detail connections (plates, gussets, bolts, welds) and produce clear notes/dimensions.
• Prepare MTO/BOQ when required.
• Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments (RFI/As-built if needed).
• Maintain proper CAD standards: layers, title blocks, plotting, and file naming.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in steel structure shop drawings.
• Strong AutoCAD skills (mandatory); other engineering software is a plus.
• Good understanding of steel detailing principles (welding/bolting symbols, fabrication details).
• Arabic & English proficiency (reading/writing for drawings and comments).
• Must be available in Oman and ready to join.

Preferred:

• Experience with Tekla / Revit / Advance Steel or similar detailing tools.
