Steel Structure Estimator / Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimations for steel works.
• Analyze fabrication, welding, painting, and erection costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare pricing sheets, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
• Work closely with design and procurement teams for accurate cost data.
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum [5-10] years of experience in steel structure estimation.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla (for BOQ extraction), and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards (AISC, BS, Eurocode, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
