This position is responsible for all sales activities of all Steel products into Saudi Arabia and also sourcing activities of all steel products from Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver sales targets and manage and monitor trading transactions in Saudi for Steel products, including API products • Recommend and develop trading strategy and tactics for Saudi Arabia for the assigned products and actively participate in the planning process of the Annual Business Plan. • Lead Steel Sales in Saudi Arabia and achieve minimum of 100,000 Mt exports annually. • Should be able to immediately leverage & capitalize on existing relationships with importers and steel producers in the area. • Create and implement a strategic plan for assigned products exports identifying key suppliers, customer solutions, target markets/customers, and resources required. • Identify and develop new customers and manage customers and ensure delivery of volume & margin targets basis global product line plans, on a monthly/quarterly/ annual basis. • Build effective network of insights sharing & connectivity within the Division/ Vertical. • Maintain/Develop relationships with steel mills in Saudi Arabia to source steel for all regions • Flawless management of contracts execution • Risk management:- o Minimize claims exposure. o Manage claims diligently.
Qualification
• University Graduate, major in international trade or relevant discipline. • An Engineering degree will be an added advantage • Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Desired profile
• Possess good knowledge of markets and customers in Saudi Arabia • Strong market sense and quick responder to market changes • Knowledge of other neighbouring markets would be of added advantage. • Good Technical knowledge of various Steel products • Good understanding of INCO TERMS 2010, UCP 600, contract exposure, marine freight (container and/ or bulk), etc. • Able to translate strategies into practical action and deliver results. • Team Player - ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural team environment (across time zone, work locations etc.). • Independent thinker to support growth aspirations of the Division/ Vertical. Strong business acumen, judgment & self-motivation to operate and grow a dynamic business
