Job Summary

As an Astrophysics Researcher & STEM Educator, you’ll reshape how science and space are taught in schools.
You’ll lead young minds through exciting, research-based learning journeys — from hands-on physics experiments to real-life sky-watch sessions under the stars.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Teach foundational and advanced concepts in astrophysics, cosmology, space science, and physics.
  • Make abstract cosmic phenomena accessible and exciting through hands-on learning.
  • Lead evening sky observation sessions and overnight stargazing camps, guiding students in real-time celestial explorations.
  • Simplify complex ideas like the origins of the universe, stellar evolution, and galactic structures through engaging models and activities.

Specialized Technical Role:

  • Manage astronomical observation equipment — telescopes, sky-mapping software, and educational planetarium tools.
  • Organize and lead evening and overnight astronomical observation events for students.
  • Design age-appropriate astronomy models, simulations, and real-world demonstrations.
  • Continuously innovate methods to make space science and astrophysics approachable and exciting for learners.

Generic Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, hands-on science sessions that spark imagination.
  • Facilitate exploratory learning through experiments, models, simulations, and creative challenges.
  • Inspire critical thinking and real-world problem solving.
  • Tailor your teaching methods to different learning styles and age groups.
  • Guide students in building projects and models that strengthen understanding.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance STEM curriculum.
  • Maintain a fun, inclusive, and safe environment for all students.
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and leadership.

Who You Are:

  • A graduate in Science, Engineering, or Technology (Physics, Astrophysics, Astronomy preferred).
  • Naturally curious, creative, and excited by STEM education.
  • Skilled at breaking down complex topics for young, eager minds.
  • Open to travel for educational events, sky observations, and workshops.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative, mission-driven environments.
