Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate, disciplined, and versatile Full-Time Technology Educator to teach, mentor, and guide students aged 7 to 17 years across Ada Tech’s academic programs. The educator will deliver structured courses, hands-on workshops, and specialized masterclasses while contributing to curriculum development, classroom management, and academic growth of the institute.
This role blends teaching, mentorship, innovation, and academic operations, and is ideal for educators who enjoy both structured learning and creative exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Instruction
- Deliver age-appropriate, engaging lessons for students aged 7–17
- Teach AdaTech core subjects, including but not limited to:
- Programming (Scratch, Python, JavaScript, C++ basics)
- Robotics & Electronics
- Game Development (Unity / Game Logic)
- Web Design & Development
- AI fundamentals & logical thinking
- 3D Design & Technology Tools
- Adapt teaching methods for different age groups, learning styles, and skill levels
- Conduct both theory-based and hands-on practical sessions
- Ensure lesson outcomes align with AdaTech’s academic standards
Workshops & Masterclasses
- Plan and deliver:
- Short-term workshops
- Holiday camps
- Weekend intensives
- Advanced masterclasses
- Assist in creating workshop content, learning objectives, and hands-on activities
- Support live demos, project showcases, and student presentations
- Help maintain high energy and engagement during public or promotional workshops
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive classroom environment
- Manage class flow, time, and student behavior effectively
- Ensure proper use and care of:
- Computers
- Robotics kits
- Electronic components
- Software tools
- Monitor student progress during sessions and provide real-time guidance
- Maintain attendance records and class logs
Academic Development & Curriculum Support
- Assist in building and improving AdaTech’s academic structure
- Contribute ideas for:
- Course outlines
- Learning pathways
- Skill progression frameworks
- Help refine lesson plans, projects, and assessments
- Participate in internal academic discussions and training sessions
Operational & Team Support
- Coordinate with academic managers and fellow educators
- Assist during institute events, open days, and demos
- Support onboarding of new students where required
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with parents and guardians
- Follow institute policies, schedules, and academic protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundation in technology, programming, or STEM education
- Comfortable teaching children and teens (ages 7–17)
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging ways
- Classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and innovation
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt
