Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $26 per hour

About the Role

eCode Learning Center is seeking a passionate and reliable STEM Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students in our Afterschool STEM Club. The instructor will supervise and guide students in interactive STEM activities including Minecraft Education, LEGO Education robotics, financial literacy integration, and other technology-based projects.

This position is ideal for a Teacher’s Assistant, Education Major, STEM Major, or aspiring educator looking to gain classroom leadership experience in a fun, innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead structured STEM lessons using:

• Minecraft Education
• LEGO Education / Robotics
• Coding and problem-solving activities
• Introductory financial literacy concepts integrated into STEM projects

Supervise students in a safe and engaging afterschool environment

Maintain classroom management and positive behavior expectations

Prepare materials and assist with hands-on projects

Track attendance and support program documentation

Collaborate with program leadership and assistants to ensure smooth daily operations

Foster creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience working with children (ages 8 to 13)
• Background in Education, STEM, Computer Science, or related field
• Teacher’s Assistant experience or currently pursuing a degree in Education
• Familiarity with Minecraft Education or LEGO robotics (training can be provided)
